1930/31 Model A Coupe
All handmade! The body was assembled from loose parts; the front grill is actually salvage from a tractor! Case maybe? Low slung top? 7” chop. The cowl and doors are from a Murray bodied Ford.
Front axle is from a 1959 Ford F100 pickup truck, and the engine is a 239ci Ford Flathead V8, with a 371 GMC Roots blower, putting in 7lbs of boost. There is a converted Chevrolet distributor, full flow oiling system, and an alternator hidden inside a period correct generator case.
Currently, a 255 Merc flatty is under construction, and also be supercharged. 2 – Holley 94 carburetors a Isky JR camshaft, a T5 Chevrolet transmission is mated with a homebuilt adapter kit, and a Ford 9” differential.
On the outside there are 59 Cadillac Coupe De Ville taillights, and A lot of the panels have been freshly made, and “patina’d” to match the rest of the original metal.
The interior is all hand rolled sheet metal panels, attached by hundreds of copper rivets. The shift knob is a PBR beer tap, and extends above the roof line (at least until the snap on roof is installed) The seats and steering wheel are leather wrapped, and that’s pretty much it for creature comforts.
